The vacuum setup is a closed pump system, which has two valves, one to close off the pump and one to open the chamber. This will keep the pump running at maximum efficiency. Which incorporates a REITCHLE VC50 rotary vain vacuum pump (35 CFM 2 HP) mounted on stand.
The pump is sealed to a 25" sq. ½” aluminum jiggle plate with 1” copper piping, an inline filter, and a 30 Hg vacuum gauge. The vacuum chamber is a 20"W x 17"H Acrylic bell jar sealed by a ¼” pure gum rubber pad. The system also incorporates an air operated jiggle ram to assist in the removal of unwanted air bubbles.
